The Riserva di Fietri comes from our Poggio Ciliegio Vineyard, where our Sangiovese buries its roots deep into the clayey galestro-rich soil, capturing the essence of the vineyard’s aromatic herbs, tiny sylvan fruits and spontaneous wild flowers.

It is then vinified in steel vats before passing to 20 days of malo-lactic fermentation in oak Tonneaux followed by another 18 months of aging in the Tonneaux and in oval Allier barrels. From here comes its strength, incisiveness and sincerity, and its spicy notes of black pepper, juniper, tobacco and dark chocolate. Finally then, it is aged in bottles for 15 months, acquiring a smooth, clean, dry palate with well-integrated tannins. The elegant "silk effect" that it has on the palate is worthy of note: enveloping without leaving a trace, except for that of great pleasure.
